2017 Wedding Retrospective
To date, 2017 was my best year as a wedding photographer. Last year I shot 35 weddings and numerous engagement sessions in London and abroad in Europe. I had the pleasure of working with couples in France, Spain, and Denmark for the first time. I also edited more than 24,000 pictures throughout 2017!
This abundance of photos has resulted in my 2017 retrospective. This selection is really unique and not meant to be a “the best of 2017 wedding photos”, but rather a collection of some memories from some of these weddings, engagements, elopements and destination weddings.
It took me a long time to select these photos. The first cut had around 200 photos, the second whittled down to about 100, and I’ve finally selected 30. Different wedding photography styles can be found in this selection, from photojournalism to editorial.
These photos capture emotional moments, happiness, and joy shared with amazing people. These photos also represent the process of many encounters that made me not only a better photographer but also a better person.
Each year’s ending reminds me of how photography is important to our lives. Through photography we not only remember our important moments, but we can also show these moments to others and keep them alive for further generations.
I would like to thank all the couples that worked with me this past year. Without you, all of these amazing photos wouldn’t be possible. Many, many thanks!
