The Rookery engagement photos – Annika and Jason<\/h2>\n

The Rookery engagement photos – Annika and Jason’s engagement session took place in Rookery Park, located in Streatham Common, South London.<\/p>\n

It was raining the whole day, but a couple of hours before our session, the weather started to get better and during our session the weather was great.<\/p>\n

We decided to shoot around sunset, because the light is more flattering at this time of the day. Although shooting around noon is possible (and I love this challenge!), it’s good advice to shoot around the hours of sunrise or sunset because of the light quality then.<\/p>\n

The Rookery is a beautiful park, especially during spring – it\u2019s full of flowers, a pond and a garden. It’s one of Lambeth’s 12 Green Flag Award-winning parks. \u00a0This kind of environment is fabulous for an engagement session.<\/p>\n

Though Annika and Jason didn’t have any previous experience of an engagement photo shoot, after just a few tips from me, they relaxed and had good fun during this one\u2013and-a-half hour engagement session \u00a0The result was an amazing pre-wedding photoshoot.<\/p>\n
