Bromley Court Hotel wedding – Nigel & Welligton
Wellington and Nigel contacted me to photograph their wedding ceremony at Bromley Register Office and wedding reception at The Bromley Court Hotel. Both venues are not far from each other, making The Bromley Court Hotel a great reception option for a wedding ceremony at Bromley register office. I’d shot a few weddings before at Bromley Register Office – it’s a beautiful venue, with nice scenery for photos.
The wedding day was one of the hottest of the year, with a majestic sun glowing in the sky. The ceremony was attended by family and friends, many of whom had flown in from overseas.
After the ceremony, we took some formals shots and then headed to The Bromley Court Hotel for their wedding reception. Rock ‘n’ roll fans (like me) should know that this hotel staged many great gigs in the 60’s and 70’s. The hotel ballroom hosted the Bromley Jazz Club, where many well-known acts played, including Cream, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, The Who, Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix.
The guests enjoyed the good weather at the drinks reception at the hotel.
The wedding lunch followed and the speeches were really emotional. The last bit of photo coverage was the couple cutting the cake.
